      Brethren-

I wanted to update you all on the comings and goings of the Lodge since our last Stated Meeting earlier this month..

Saturday, June 12th was an Extra Meeting at Prospect Park with Christopher Spagnoletti and Ron Crockett being raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason and Craig Lashley receiving his Entered Apprentice Degree. The following Tuesday, a dozen members of the Lodge attended the Masonic School in Jenkintown and 5 Members also attended the Temple School when newly made Br. Lashley demonstrated his competence on the EA Oath & Obligation.

This past Thursday, 8 members attended an Extra Meeting of Mitchell 81 and helped Enter 2 new Brothers with several of our members taking chairs for the Degrees.

Just want you all to know that your Lodge is healthy and strong and making quite a presence around the Region with a new found commitment to attending school and learning the work properly.

I already have 3 commitments for new petitions to be read in September!!

      Some upcoming events-

July 6th, the Jenkintown School will be demonstrating Business of the Lodge and this would be a tremendous opportunity for those holding elected and appointed office or those seeking appointments for the ensuing Masonic year to learn all of the correct mechanics for the Opening/ Closing/ Balloting and operative business of the Lodge. The school starts at 7:30 with refreshments served at approximately 6:15. This event is open to all. On July 20th, the same school will be demonstrating the mechanics of the 3 Degrees. This event is open to Master Masons only for obvious reasons. Dress is casual for both.

We have been invited by our Brethren at Mitchell 81 to 2 events. On the 5th Thursday of July, they are sponsoring an axe throwing night of fun and fellowship. They have also purchased tickets to the GM’s Masonic Charities Sporting Clay event on September 12th in Coplay, PA. I already have 2 of our members signed up for this event. Please advise if you would like to attend either fun event. We will also be offering some fun events of our own throughout the Summer. More details to follow.

We have received word that Br. Dante Distefano is showing some signs of improvement and may be transferred to a rehab facility in early July. He still has a long road ahead of him, but at least the news is turning positive. I have not received any updates on Br. Gerald Francis. If anyone has any word kindly advise so the Brethren can be informed. Br. Don McFarland came through his recent surgery with flying colors and hopes to return to Lodge in the Fall!

Our presumptive WM for 2022, Br. Joseph Cain, is actively working on his program, Officers Line and budget and will be presenting to the planning committee at a dinner meeting in late August.. more details to follow.

As stated earlier, Brethren.. your Lodge is thriving and moving forward with many exciting plans for the future.Hope you all come along for the ride!

      Frats- Jim
