Morning Brethren:
Welcome to a new year and a new decade and hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season.
The last few weeks saw some great activity for the Lodge. We had our annual Holiday Party at the Candlelight Theater followed by our trips to the Masonic Villages at Lafayette Hill and Elizabethtown to be with our guests to share some fellowship and song.
Tomorrow evening, January 6th, we will be having an EXTRA MEETING to confer the Master Mason Degree on Brs. Anthony Lepre and Daniel Kelly. Dinner will be served at 6 and hopefully, we can get the meeting started by 7 or so.
Wednesday evening will be our first STATED MEETING of the year with Br. Russ Combs presiding as W.M. Br. Russ will be announcing his appointed Officers and will be reviewing his plan for the upcoming year.
Several of us had the opportunity to attend the Installation and Banquet for Br. Thomas Gamon, IV, our new Right Worshipful Grand Master. If you’d like to meet him, you will have the opportunity to do so at the annual LuLu Masonic Breakfast on Saturday, January 25th beginning at 10a, although it is recommended you get there by 9 due to parking. The Lodge typically buys a table for this event so the breakfast will be free for the Brethren who attend. Please let me know if you would like to be there.
Just a quick reminder that if you are presenting a petition for membership, we require the full amount for initiation before we can proceed on that candidate. Our initiation fee is now $375.00 payable to the Lodge.
Brethren, if you have not paid your dues for 2020, please do so asap. Notices went out this morning and I can’t stress enough that if we don’t hear from you either by paying your dues or making me aware of a situation preventing you from paying dues this year, you will be at risk of being suspended from Lodge. If you are suspended from Lodge, then you will be suspended from all appendant bodies as well. Thank you for your immediate attention to this. The Officers will begin to make individual calls to those who have not paid to make sure they have been receiving the notices.
Have a great week Brethren and hope to see you out this week.
Frats- Jim
