KeymasterHello MY Fellow Brothers,
Last night we were treated to yet another excellent Stated Meeting conducted by our very own Brother Paul Mogianesi. Brother Paul started the evening by organizing a delightful presentation by Brother Moises Gomez. Brother Moises gave us insight to the history of Freemasonry in Cuba. I can say with a high level of certainty that the brothers in attendance enjoyed the subject matter. This was due to Moises’s understanding of how Freemasonry began in Cuba and its current state as of today.
We had solid participation with over 40 men in attendance. We read two new petitions and voted on moving forward with two other candidates. We have been very busy with degree work. We have an Extra Meeting coming up next week. We will also have one Extra Meeting in May and another one in June.
Other highlights of the evening included a report of our finances from Brother Edward Cole – P.M. and trustee. Brother Edward reported that our funds grew at an favorable rate and that we are in solid finance condition.
We also read the names of brothers that as of this meeting had not paid their dues. A motion was made and approved to suspend these people due to non-payment. The amount of people that we needed to suspend was significantly reduced from last year’s figures.
I can also report that the food at the meal was actually good and no one got sick after eating at the Temple.
Our line-up of officers once again delivered on solid ritual. Our officers continue to work hard at fine tuning the business of the Lodge. We regularly have good participation at our rehearsal meetings. A special thank you to our 2026 Officers! Brother Paul and his elected Officers are really leading the way for another successful year for St. Alban Lodge.
Please see the attached pictures from the meeting last night.
Thank you and good-night,
