Good Morning Brethren-
I’d like to begin by welcoming our 3 new FC Masons, Dominick Arp, Ian Grau and Paul Mogianesi. Tomorrow night we will add Vince Kenny, Duane Bedley and Derf Raphael to that list when we hold our Extra Meeting at 7:30p. If you haven’t RSVP’d for tomorrow, please do so asap..
This past Wednesday we held our Annual Planning Meeting to review the presumptive WM’s plans for next year. Br. Kyle has a great year planned and we look forward to having him in the East. Speaking of Elected Officers, Br. Herman Wilson will be getting checked on his 2nd Degree tomorrow night as he prepares himself to assume the West in 2023.
October is shaping up to be a very busy month. Instruction Night is the 10th and our Stated Meeting is on the 12th at which time we will be voting on 3 petitions for Samir Khan, Emmauel Hernandez and Alimmany Kromah. We will also be voting on the proposed merger with Equity Lodge No. 591 plus we will be introducing a couple of by law changes. We will also recognize our Past Masters in October. With the Grand Lodges approval, we will be conferring 6 Master Mason Degrees in October over the span of 3 nights.. more details to follow.
Next weekend is the International Gathering of Lodges named for St. Alban in Rhode Island. We have a good contingent attending from 529 and we will be formally inviting the group to attend our Gathering being held in September 2024 in conjunction with our 150th Anniversary.
I am still taking names of volunteers for the Masonic Baby Shower being held at the Masonic Temple on October 29 and 30. The 29th is wrapping gifts and the 30th is the event.
That’s all for this week.. have a great week and stay safe!
Frats- Jim
