Good Morning Brethren-
Looks like we will be back to some level of “normal” in April as we have finalized the schedule for meetings, programs and Degree work.
There will be an Instruction Meeting on Monday, April 10th. We will meet for dinner TBD at 5:30 or so then head to the Temple at 7. If you have recently taken your first Degree, this is your opportunity to come out and review the work you will need to know in order to advance. We will also go over ritual pertaining to Degrees to sharpen our performance. All Officers should attend or those who may have been approached about taking an Appointed Office after recently becoming Master Masons.
Wednesday, April 14th will be our Stated Meeting in Renaissance Hall. Current capacity limits are more than sufficient to accommodate us. Again, dinner will be determined at an outside venue which will be open to all for a copay of $16. We are presenting a program recently put together by Br. Michael Comfort, P.M., Executive Director of the Masonic Temple Library & Museum entitled, “From Taverns to Temples: Homes of the Grand Lodge of PA, F&AM, Since 1731” which is an interesting and sometimes humorous compilation of the many homes of our Grand Lodge prior to our current location on Broad St. We will also be reviewing the good report of our Trustees, voting on a petition and reading another petition for the first time.
An Extra Meeting has been slated for Monday, April 19th, again with dinner TBD prior and meeting starting at 7p in Renaissance Hall. The Fellowcraft Degree will be conferred upon Marshall Lane and Ronald Crockett and the Entered Apprentice Degree will be conferred upon Christopher Spagnoletti. Of course, all COVID protocols are still in effect.
As always, if any Brethren are in need of any assistance during these unprecedented times, please feel free to reach out. Look forward to getting back to full business very soon!
Frats- Jim
