      Brethren-

The Grand Lodge of PA permitted the reopening of Masonic activity throughout the Commonwealth effective February 1st. Unfortunately, the COVID restrictions within Philadelphia County have not been lifted, therefore the Masonic Temple on Broad Street remains closed. We have scheduled a Zoom social meeting for our regularly scheduled meeting night on Wednesday, February 10th at 7:30pm and the zoom invite and link are located in the body of this email.

We can only hope with the advent and distribution of the COVID vaccine and the relative downturn of cases and COVID hospitalizations throughout our immediate area, the powers that be will begin to relax the restrictions within the city limits so we may resume formal meetings and progress with Degree work in March.. our Anniversary month.

Over the last few weeks, we were made aware of the passing of two of our Brethren..

Br. Donald Jeffers, P.M., who served as W.M. in 1966, passed away back on December 1, 2020 and we were informed of the passing of Br. Dominick Distefano, father of Br. Dante Distefano, on January 31st. I have enclosed Br. Distefano’s obituary. He is being laid to rest later today with a public viewing from 2-3p at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home , 2001 Sproul Rd in Broomall with a Masonic Service at 3:15p.

Also attached to the email is the 2021 Cover page for the Lodge Notice so you all have the updated contact information for our Officers, the 2021 Scholarship application as well as a dues reminder for those Brethren who still owe for 2021.

Look forward to seeing you on Zoom this Wednesday and hopefully, in person, starting in March! Stay safe!

      Frats- Jim
