Morning Brethren-
We had a good week! We had our Stated Meeting this past Wednesday with nearly 40 attending dinner including several new prospects. Our guest speaker from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity gave an informative presentation on their reading program in Philadelphia. We also read 1 petition for plural membership, approved another and read 6 new petitions for Initiation & Membership. Word on the street is St. Alban is the Lodge to join thanks to all of your hard work.
Upcoming events- We have an Extra Meeting next Saturday, May 21st. We will be doing the FC Degree on Jon Arrieta and the MM Degree on Eugene Dedov. We will start at 10. Jon- you don’t need to arrive until 11.
We will have school of instruction in Jenkintown this Tuesday with refreshments served at 6p.
The deadline for scholarship applications is today. The Scholarships will be presented at our June 8th Stated Meeting. We will be dining in the Grand Banquet Room at Grand Lodge with the One North Caterer. If you know you will be attending this event, I would appreciate getting your reservation ASAP so I have an accurate count for the caterer. Our DDGM, Sam Freeman, will be in attendance.
