IF YOU HAVEN’T READ YESTERDAY’S EMAIL ABOUT THE JUNE 13TH STATED MEETING, PLEASE DO SO AND REPLY ACCORDINGLY.. THANK YOU!
First and foremost, today is Mother’s Day and hopefully, if your Mother is still with you, you are planning something wonderful to celebrate her special day. If your Mother has passed on, I’m sure you will spend today cherishing her memory. Make it a great day in either case.
We had a good meeting the other night with an informative presentation from Br. Lou Kahn from Concordia Lodge. We also read 5 new petitions (yes, I said 5). We will spend this month investigating and preparing for a vote next month and eventual initiation in the fall.. potentially at Ft. Mifflin in September.
Tomorrow night the 14th is our Extra Meeting with dinner commencing at 5:45p. We have a busy night planned and could use as many of you as possible to assist. Please come out and help us raise 3 Brethren to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.
This Wednesday is the trip to E-town to visit our guests there. Please contact Joe Fletcher if you are able to attend.
We have a Blood Drive on May 30th. Details are in your Lodge Notice.
We have 15 scholarship applications that have been submitted. The committee is reviewing and letters will be going out to the recipients in the next week or so inviting them to the Stated Meeting in June. Scholarship recipients and (1) non-Masonic guest are admitted to the dinner on June 13th at no cost.
As we prepare for summer break in July and August please keep in mind the International Gathering in September and make your bus reservation as soon as possible. Also, we are planning a worker’s party sometime later in the summer. More details about this are forthcoming.
